About this project

The project addresses the widespread challenge of financial disorganization, which leads to overspending, debt accumulation, and hindered financial well-being. It impacts individuals by creating a cycle of debt and limiting financial freedom and long-term goal achievement. Our application, Scan Your Bill, utilizes image recognition and optical character recognition (OCR) technology to extract key information from receipts, eliminating manual data entry. Natural language processing (NLP) techniques will be leveraged to enhance the accuracy and relevance of expense categorization. Providing clear data visualizations and intuitive dashboards, as well as robust security protocols to safeguard user data privacy and security, our application provides a user-friendly solution that empowers individuals to manage their finances effectively.
