This project is doing a lot of the heavy lifting by creating a Debian base with Bootc and other tools properly configured, so I can remove a lot of extra steps from our build.

Unlike the debian branch, this one actually boots after:

  • just build
  • just build-disk
  • create new VM from disk image with UEFI
  • disable Secure Boot

The debian branch gets to an error when switching the root.

I'll need a bit more certainty with the direction of this upstream project before commiting to it, but worst-case scenario I'll just be replicating what they are doing.

This will also force a rebuild with recent changes to SpamTagger-Plus
which should fix tests.
