Believe generate a monthly and a quarterly royalty report. The quarterly report contains the previous three months, but there is no single report for the third month of each quarter.
E.g.
January Report = total for jan February Report = total for feb Q1 Report = total for jan + feb + march April Report = total for april May Report = total for may Q2 Report = total for april + may + june July Report August Report Q3 Report October Report November Report Q4 Report
So it's recommended to import quarterly statements to TrackShift, unless the importer can spot the duplicates from the previous months in the quarterly upload that follows. Feels clumsy.
A further complication is that the royalty reports do not match a distribution payment, since the user has to request payment after their balance is over 100 EUR.
You can sort of work this out in the historical transactions while logged in to Believe. The onus is on the user to do that though.
Also, the amounts are in EUR. So a user in the UK whose other statements are in GBP, the amounts in the Believe statements won't match up.
A possible solution would be to merge uploads into a single TS merged upload that can then have a TS amount entered as the GBP equivalent of the EUR contents. Each row's Net Value would be a % of the total EUR, so when the total is converted to GBP by the user, the Net Value of each row is the matching % of GBP as it was EUR.
These CSV statements look like this:
