Target platforms this affects:

  • Windows

What problem does this solve?

  • Makes sure the application is actually enabled in registry.
  • Registry used: \Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StartupApproved\Run
  • Enables startup after adding it to \Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
  • Also Disables it when removing it

Could it break any existing functionality for users?

  • No

This change is made due to, if a use disables the service from task manager, it remains disabled no matter how many times .enabled() is called.
