I needed a way to open new windows in the same directory as the itermocil command is run and --here doesn't propagate to all new windows.

Not sure if this is the best way to do it (never coded python), but the feature would be very useful.

Cheers.

+1 to this. Without it there's no point being able to check an itermocil.yml file into a shared repo, because your root will probably be wrong for the next person who checks it out.

Although I'd prefer to be able to use '.' as the root instead of 'cwd', then it just magically works as I'd expect it to.

@TomAnthony any news about that?

As @oldskool73 pointed out, there's currently no hope to share itermocil.yml into a repo.

Hint: Removing 'root' variable from itermocil.yml seems to help

What's the status on this?? Almost 2 years old and still no way to share a file to other users who may (certainly) have different directory structures?

@ssilve1989 I'd suggest to use the @lastobelus' updated fork: https://github.com/lastobelus/itermocil

It has this and many other improvements and patches.
