I've also made a support ticket with GitHub to get the repo rerouted as a fork of this one instead of the main / stale one.

Feel free to invite me so that I could contribute directly with a branch rather than complete fork.

@kkarhan Thanks for this. Regrettably, I don't believe I have access to edit the PR and Issues templates under the CommanderX16 repo as you suggest. This, unfortunately, goes towards why the community forked. If the original (and sole) owner of the original CommanderX16 repo becomes active again and is interested in merging, then a merge may happen once we've made appropriate assurances that a future fork won't be necessary. We'd welcome the opportunity to work with them again.
