Join Salem Montessori School as we raise money to help two families living in Guatemala gain access to water.
The Guatemala Agua Project was created to bring a well to two families in rural Guatemala. Currently in Guatemala, the water situation is less than ideal. In fact, across the world, a child dies every 15 seconds due to water borne illnesses. The cost to install a personal well for a single family is about $1,300. Therefore, the cost of a well for two families is about $2,600.
The Third World Challenge is a challenge that mimics the situation in a Third World Country. The challenge will take place from May 10 through May 14. To view the challenges, click here. If you would like, please make a donation to help the families get a well installed. The suggested pledge amount is $30.
