Has this been tested enough? If the file write doesn't finish quickly, user will be stuck at the add/edit screen for a perceptible amount of time without any feedback. |

I have tested this on a Lumia 950xl. I have no other real devices at hand. In my tests it didn’t feel like the phone was waiting for anything.
