Snooby will work with older versions, but why not use the latest and greatest?
net-http-persistent 3.x just came out, but Snooby doesn't (currently) work with the 3.x series.

net-http-persistent v3.0 was just released, but Snooby doesn't work with that version; it should constrain its version to ~> 2.5 until it can be properly updated.
