This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
For those who doesn't have MongoDB account, you can simply sign up to MongoDB website. Create new cluster and make sure you choose the free tier option and keep everything as default option. After you have created an account and created a new cluster, navigate to Network Access from the side navigation under security and add your IP Address. Once you have added your IP Address, navigate to Database Access and create a user that has access to read and write to any database.
Before you run the development server,
Find the code that has const client = await MongoClient.connect(''). Then, go to your cluster and click on connect and click Connect your application and copy the code from the step 2 and paste in the MongoClient.connect('').
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js.
The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
