The latest release was compiled using Go 1.25.8 anyway, so those improvements are there. I'll leave this PR open for now, we might make this upgrade together with other associated changes. If not, we can come back to merge just this. |

Bumps Go from 1.25.7 to 1.25.8 to pick up security fixes to `html/template`, `net/url`, and `os` packages (release notes).
