Use Rust's loop-break-with-value to return ExitStatus directly from the loop, removing the need for a mutable Option that was always overwritten before being read. This also simplifies downstream usage since exit_status is now an ExitStatus instead of Option<ExitStatus>. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
