Hi there 👋

  • 🔭 I’m currently a Technical Advisor (IT-03) working for NRCan / CCMEO / GeoDiscovery on the new web presence for our division: geo.ca and the internal to government open geospatial portal: gcgeo.gc.ca
  • 💬 Ask me about: ISO/TC 211 metadata standards (ISO 19115) or the Canadian 'Harmonized' North American Profile, making geospatial data and services FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable), OGC standards (both old and new), open source geospatial projects, geospatial microservices, Cloud development and deployment using Infrastructure as Code
  • 🌱 I’m currently learning about making Cloud deployments cost effective, OpenSearch, AI/ML pipelines (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, etc.)
  • 📫 How to reach me: bo.lu@nrcan-rncan.gc.ca
  • 📫 For general questions: geo@nrcan-rncan.gc.ca
