@LKaemmerling Would you mind taking a look at this from the Hetzner Cloud team? Feel free to suggest changes.

This LGTM. How does the OS image get uploaded to the cloud?

@bgilbert Currently, Hetzner only allows personal snapshots, but having these images would already greatly speed up building CoreOS instances for their cloud.

I believe it is up to the Hetzner team (maybe @LKaemmerling or @thcyron can help here?) to implement a way to get these added to their standard set of cloud images.

Okay, so have you tested your changes with Hetzner Cloud? Does the Hetzner team intend to add Container Linux as an available OS?

I indeed did test these changes in the Hetzner Cloud.

I can't speak for the Hetzner team of course, but I sincerely hope they'll add it as an available OS as soon as there is native support for booting CoreOS in their environment. They are actively developing and supporting Kubernetes related tools (i.e. https://github.com/hetznercloud/csi-driver/) so I can only assume they are welcoming these changes.
