I used the original code from skilldrick for a while, then ran across your enhanced version. Recently, I saw what you did with syntax highlighting but decided to go a different direction with code-input and highlightjs. I've also changed the memory pseudo-ops (dsb, dsw, dcw, txt).
I recently wrote an assembler in Java and combined many of the addressing modes into fewer, slightly more dense versions. Unfortunately, I could only integrate my additive expression into the absolute addressing (which is what I wanted at the time). It would be too much of a lift now, but it's planned.
LDA label+1 ; additive expression.
At any rate, I'm writing to see if you'd be interested in merging the changes to your tree.
