This update synchronizes Layer 2 (Grid Signal) with the latest platform-wide requirements for Phase 5 (Enterprise Scale) and prepares for Phase 6 (AI & Optimization).

Key Engineering Wins:

  1. Protocol Bridging: Automated mapping from OpenADR 3.0 signals (level/setpoint) to IEEE 2030.5 DERControl parameters (op_mode/set_point_kw) in the Kafka hot-path. This ensures that Layer 3 (VPP Aggregator) receives actionable, standardized dispatch commands.
  2. Data Fidelity (L11 Readiness): Enhanced confidence score propagation by prioritizing explicit metrics from the L1 Physics Engine context. This ensures that downstream ML models train on high-fidelity, physics-verified data.
  3. Stability & Bugfix: Identified and resolved a critical ReferenceError in the regional capacity aggregation loop, ensuring robust fallback mechanisms when high-fidelity data is intermittent.
  4. Safety Invariants: Maintained strict adherence to "The Fuse Rule" and enforced the resource-aware 10% variance threshold for BESS assets.

The service has been bumped to v2.4.5 and includes comprehensive regression tests for all new logic.

… Scoring

- Implemented IEEE 2030.5 `der_control` mapping in Kafka broadcasts to unblock L3 automated dispatching.
- Refactored `confidence_score` logic to prioritize explicit L1 Physics scores for ML data fidelity.
- Fixed a ReferenceError bug in `updateRegionalStats` regarding regional capacity fallback.
- Enforced 10% BESS variance threshold in safety consumer aligned with L1 physics invariants.
- Updated service version to 2.4.5 and generated Weekly Engineering Report.
- Verified 32/32 unit tests passing.
