For improved readability, I'd probably swap things around so its OS==ANDROID then android specific code, then ELSE for everyone else |

Some Android do not allow to read
/proc/sys/kernel/osrelease, in which dnetc exits with the messagednetc: Unable to initialize timers.(BTW, I think dnetc can use
unameto get kernel version in all operating systems based on Linux)
