Prerequisites

• Node.js 20+ & pnpm (corepack enable)
• Python 3.12+
• uv
• API keys for Gemini, Jina, and Cloudflare Turnstile

Installation

1. Clone and setup frontend:

   cd frontend
   cp .env.example .env  # Add your VITE_TURNSTILE_SITE_KEY
   pnpm install
   pnpm dev

2. Setup backend:

   cd backend
   cp .env.example .env  # Add GEMINI_API_KEY, JINA_API_KEY, TURNSTILE_SECRET_KEY

3. Access applications:

   • Frontend: http://localhost:5173

🆘 Troubleshooting

1. Missing environment variables will cause 500 errors - ensure all keys are set
2. Large files (>5 MiB) will be rejected with 413 status
3. Invalid Turnstile tokens return 403 errors
4. Build issues - delete frontend/dist/ and rebuild
