How can I rotate axis labels?

Use the tickLabelRotation of the axis renderer to set the rotation angle of the axis labels in degrees:

AxisRenderer rendererX = plot.getAxisRenderer(XYPlot.AXIS_X);
rendererX.setTickLabelRotation(90.0);
