With the latest version of this package, excludeExceptionTypes stopped working for us for InvalidControllerException.
With this change the setting is set directly in sentry/sentry using the ignore option: https://docs.sentry.io/platforms/php/guides/symfony/configuration/filtering/#using-ignore-exceptions
