Hm you're right, I suppose there is no way of configuring the Package.swift in a way that allows v7 and v8, right? I have seen that the capawesome team has updated all packages to v8 too. Maybe they cherry-pick important fixes to v7 branches and release those separately for some time... Happy to hear your suggestion on dealing with this :) Besides, I'm aware that there are other additional changes suggested for migrating a plugin to v8, but the migration tool failed on my machine so I'll add those manually later. |

This updates the
https://github.com/ionic-team/capacitor-swift-pm.gitdependency to v8 for capacitor 8
