I've done the work here of migrating from leaflet to maplibre-gl, which (in my opinion) feels much nicer to use. Besides that, I've also added an indicator that appears while the clubs are loading, so that you know something is happening.
I made a custom map style that matches how the previous leaflet version looked as best as possible
