Hygo Vim

If you use vim style coding in any editor, this will help you instantly convert to neovim.

Prerequisites

• If you are using a mac, you need to use iterm2. The default terminal doesn't support true color, so all the colorschemes will look terrible and unreadable.
• Install a NerdFont Font
• FD-Find

sudo apt install fd-find

• repgrep

sudo apt install ripgrep

• Install Neovim
  • Download for linux

curl -L -o ~/nvim.appimage https://github.com/neovim/neovim/releases/download/v0.11.0/nvim-linux-x86_64.appimage

• Add this to bashrc

alias nvim='~/nvim.appimage'
alias nv=nvim
alias vim=nvim

• Set up win32yank for wsl to paste like an absolute gangster
  • Note use yanky <leader>p to paste if you delete before pasting cuz we use unnamedplus default keyboard
