How to Submit New Content

Jackson Couse edited this page Jul 25, 2013 · 17 revisions

Publishing new content online can be tricky: there is a complex web of formatting, corrections, approvals requirements, and a chain of people who each have a role to play. Nonetheless, Amnesty International Canada strives to accommodate a wide range of content creators with a variety of skill and comfort levels.

Start with the source

All new content starts with the CCK templates and naming conventions.

Editing and review

Once your story is submitted, it will be reviewed by an editor and, as needed, returned for review. You will be sent an email containing a link to Draft, our online revision and version control software, where you'll be able to see and accept of reject changes, and suggest further additions or modifications.

Once your content is finalized, the editor will send the story to the web publisher to post online.
