Welcome to the Multi-Backend Chatbot with Gradio! This application lets you interact with a powerful AI chatbot using a user-friendly interface. It supports over 100 models from various local and cloud providers, giving you flexibility and customization to suit your needs.
To get started, follow the steps below. You will download the application, install it, and be ready to engage with the chatbot.
Visit the Release Page to download the latest version of the application.
Before downloading, ensure your system meets the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows, macOS, or Linux
- Processor: Dual-core CPU or better
- RAM: At least 4 GB
- Disk Space: Minimum of 200 MB free space
- Network: Internet connection for cloud model support
- Click on the Release Page.
- Look for the latest version. You will find several files available.
- Download the installer suitable for your operating system (e.g.,

- Double-click the file to start the installation.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
After installation, you may want to configure the chatbot settings. Hereβs how you can do it:
- Open the application.
- Select your desired backend model from the drop-down menu. You can choose between local and cloud models.
- Adjust settings such as response speed and output format based on your preference.
- Click βSaveβ to apply your changes.
With everything set up, you can start chatting:
- Open the Mult-Backend Chatbot application.
- In the chat interface, type your message in the text box at the bottom.
- Press βEnterβ or click the send icon to submit your question.
- Wait for the chatbot to respond. You can keep the conversation going by typing your next message.
This application supports a variety of AI models, enabling you to experiment with different types of interactions. Some of the models include:
- OpenAI GPT: Known for its versatility and human-like text generation.
- Ollama: Offers effective responses for complex queries.
- Local Models: Use models installed on your system for faster responses and data privacy.
Try asking different types of questions to see how the chatbot responds. Here are some examples:

If you encounter issues with the application, consider the following solutions:
- Installation Errors: Confirm that your operating system meets the requirements. Try running the installer as an administrator.
- Crashes or Freezes: Restart the application. If the problem persists, consider reinstalling.
- No Response from Chatbot: Ensure you have an active internet connection if using cloud models. Check the model settings to ensure a model is selected.
