The Internal Pilot Simulator (ips) is a tool to perform simulation on the behaviour of clinical trials with internal pilot study design.
The tool currently supports the following trials design
- normally distributed outcomes
- two-armed trial designs with superiority, non-inferiority and equivalence hypothesis using difference-of-means or ration of means
- Tree armed trial design as in described in [1]
- blinded and unblinded re-assesement of the variance, unblinded re-assesement of the delta
