Followup changes to the atomic transactions PR

Proposed changes

I forgot to add the following in the last PR:

1. Add birthyear etc to the user in the emulator mode such that tasks actually start, since we check age
2. Some more log statements
3. A firbase config so that indexes can be deployed to the online emulator
