This feature allows users to serve multiple versions of the same file with a query parameter. If the specified version is not present this falls back and serves the default version.
The code change does not modify the currently used variables and hence the existing flow is almost unaltered.
Necessary documentation has been added to code and README (Sorry for multiple commits on that - could not get the formatting right on the first time).
