One-line summary

Demo setup for heroku deployments and some older configs cleaned up.

Significant changes and points to review

Removing:

  1. heroku app manifests and configs
  2. etag leftovers
  3. git-blame-ignore-revs from a foreign tree
  4. jenkins leftovers
  5. python packaging legacy

@stevejalim Does the MANIFEST.in have any meaning these days? (esp. here where we're not packaging anything…) ~ I'm adding it to the bulk of things to remove for now, as I don't see its utility any longer.

BTW does the setup.py have any actual role here, besides perhaps sentimental values, given there's no setuptools flow I could think of? (I'm also contemplating its removal really…)
