Вот с такими вещами работает API из angular. Не думаю, что тут всё правильно и чисто сделано, - я вообще не знаю ruby, просто нашёл эти вещи в гугле. В изменениях - добавлен ответ на запрос "Options" + плюс переделаны настройки CSRF-токена. Не знаю насколько это всё безопасно, но по-крайней мере с ним работает мой клиент :)
