I added some code to your pytpb implementation to make it into a full-fledged CLI program with which you can download torrent files from The Pirate Bay. It uses the magnet links to build the .torrent files, as The Pirate Bay is currently trying to get rid of all .torrent files and will only use magnet links in the future.
