WeatherApp is a simple program to check the weather right on your Windows computer. It uses live data to give you current weather conditions, air quality scores, and forecasts. The app looks modern with a clear glass style that is easy to read. You do not need any special skills to use it.

Go to the WeatherApp release page by clicking the big green button at the top or visit:

Look for the latest version. Versions will be labeled with numbers like v1.0, v1.1, etc. The newest release is listed at the top.

Under the latest release, find the Windows installer file. It usually ends with
.exe. For example,WeatherApp-Setup.exe. -
Click the file name to start downloading it to your computer.

Once the file finishes downloading, open the folder where you saved it. Double-click the
.exefile to begin installation. -
Follow the simple on-screen steps from the installer. You can accept default settings. It will place WeatherApp on your desktop and start menu.

When installation is done, you will see a shortcut icon for WeatherApp on your desktop. Double-click it to launch the app.
- When you open the app, it will ask for permission to use your location. Click "Allow" to get weather data for your current area.
- You can also enter your city name or postal code in the search bar on top to get weather anywhere else.
- The main screen shows today's weather, including temperature, humidity, wind, and air quality.
- Swipe or click the tabs to switch between hourly and weekly forecasts.
- Use the toggle button to switch between light and dark mode depending on your preference.
- If you lose internet, the app will keep your last weather data on screen until you reconnect.
Open the settings menu by clicking the gear icon at the top right of the app window. Here you can:
- Choose Celsius or Fahrenheit for temperature
- Turn air quality index display on or off
- Select between 12-hour or 24-hour time format
- Enable or disable notifications for severe weather alerts
- Clear cached data to free up space
- If WeatherApp does not open, try restarting your computer.
- Ensure your internet connection works. Without it, live data can't load.
- If location requests do not appear, check Windows settings under Privacy > Location and enable permission for WeatherApp.
- The app uses your computer’s date and time settings. Make sure they are correct.
- If updates are available, visit the release page again and download the latest installer.
- For other errors, close the app and run it again.
