Fantastic! Thanks for doing this. I'd also like to get @lyonsil 's opinion if he has a moment since he is better acquainted with this than I am, but it looks just right to me.

I was able to follow commits on the original repository to update the macOS runner and MacPorts version. I chose 2.11.5 because that is the version recommended for macOS 13, which is the oldest runner this supports.
