Metrics labels now have a safelist of allowed characters (drawn from the Prometheus docs.) This should replace any invalid characters with an underscore
_. I also added a maximum length for metrics labels.I also found an oversight in some of our tests where we were calling eunit macros but not returning them to the generators. I added a commit to fix that here.
