Happy to add that buy i'd prefer if there were only a warning at runtime, when actually the import is attempted. Similiarly what e.g. Pandas does with Matplotlib or Excel reading libraries. |

In addition to string and pathlike, it would be useful to accept a
frictionless.datapackageobject.Here's a proposition.
