This repository hosts a Jupyter notebook that contains the steps to convert the Ecospold1 files
of the UVEK:2025 LCA database available from Nexus into
a bw2io.base_lci object that can be imported into Brightway2 as a database.
Some elementary had to be mapped manually. This mapping is found under elementary_flows_mapping.csv.
It is subject to change.
To use the notebook, clone this repository and open the BAFU2BW.ipynb file in Jupyter Notebook or JupyterLab.
Make sure you have the required dependencies installed, including bw2data and bw2io.
Feel free to contribute to improving the mapping of elementary flows or any other aspect of the notebook. Pull requests are welcome!
