Description

For our TechTogether Atlanta project, we decided to deploy a service to Azure.
We began by signing up for a Microsoft Azure student account then created a repository on GitHub.
We then used Azure App Service to host our Web Application that describes our experience using Azure, Git, GitHub, and VSCode.

Below you will find the screenshots of the stops we have done.

User-Story

AS A new software developer
I WANT to host a Web Application with Azure App Service
and I WANT to be able to collaborate with other developers using GitHub
SO THAT on team projects, I can build and host Web Applications using Azure.

Acceptance-Criteria

GIVEN I want to deploy a Web Application service to Microsoft Azure
WHEN I review the Microsoft Passport Challenge document for TechTogether Atlanta Hackathon
THEN I sign up for an Microsoft Azure for Students
WHEN I successfully sign up for an Microsoft Azure student account
THEN I take a screenshot
WHEN I create a GitHub repository
THEN I take a screenshot
WHEN I deploy a Web Application service to Microsoft Azure
THEN I take a screenshot

Breakdown-of-roles

• Kayleigh: provided instruction on Git, GitHub, GitHub Projects, and GitFlow.
• Siwon: created a Microsoft Azure student account and GitHub repository, and deployed a Web Application to Azure

Schedule

• Saturday (1/29)

  • Created Microsoft Azure Student Account
  • Created GitHub repository and project board
  • Hosted an Azure Web Application

• Sunday (1/30)

  • Completed README

  • Submitted project for review
