User Stories: Search Feature

1. As a student, I want to find poetry by a specific genre so that I can filter out poems and only read those relevant to my English literature assignment.

Acceptance Criteria:

• A search function that accepts genre as a valid search query
• The ability to filter out any search results returned to the User
• A rating system to help the user see the most relevant search results based on their search criteria
• The website should assist visitors and registered users to help users navigate the site

2. As a admin, I want to be able to be able to search for all poems by a genre or author so that I can verify that each poem is correctly tagged.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Admins are able to search by tags categorized by author or genre
• The ability to reassign tags for any search result

3. As a accessibility impaired user, I want to be able to be able to search for poems by image so that I can print out a poem and tape onto my computer screen.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Alt-tags should be descriptive of the non text content
• The ability to reassign tags for any search result

4. As a registered user, I want to be able to be able search and filter in the Community Poetry page for all poetry written by users I follow so that I can add comments and support their artwork.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Search for a user's uploaded poems associated with their account
• Search functionality in the Community Poetry Page
