In implmentation of the pomodoro technique in Emacs Org-Mode.
This package is not on MELPA currently. I am planning on uploading it once I iron out the bugs and sufficiently de-personalize it. If you wish to install it, please clone this repo and add to your load path.
git clone git@github.com:ndwarshuis/org-tomato.git(add-to-list load-path "path/to/repo")
(require org-tomato)One might wonder why this package exists when there is already the org-pomodoro package in MELPA. The reason is because I wanted a pomodoro implementation that logged and tracked my progress in addition to the timer sequence. For me this adds some extra motivation because I know I am tracking myself, and also allows review of how well I am sticking to the technique at a later date.
If you are deciding between packages, the decision is pretty simple (in my view at least). If you want something simple that doesn’t pollute your file system with log files, use org-pomodoro. Otherwise, use this.
