Motivation

  • Shift the contributor onboarding to a "practice being a user" mindset so contributors actively use tscircuit, spot where AI or the UI fails, and discover high-impact fixes by reproducing small real-world devices.

Description

  • Add a new Contribution Philosophy: Practice Being a User section to docs/contributing/getting-started-as-a-contributor.md that advises building practical boards, looking for AI/UX/bug friction, and suggests cloning familiar small devices (fan, rice cooker, keyboard, phone charger, digital weighing scale, smart lock).

Testing

  • Ran bunx tsc --noEmit and bun run format in the docs workspace and both commands completed successfully.
