Do you know what the compatibility is on this? I want to make sure this works with all versions of windows.

Can you think of a way to make this optional? Some people may prefer the beep or prefer nothing at all. It would be nice to have that option and be easy to change.

I do however think its a good idea and if you can make it optional somehow (not even sure) or at least edit the readme to explain how to disable it that would be nice.

Right now I'm actually working on a full gui for it because I got board as for the compatibility it should be fine. "The Microsoft Speech SDK 5.1 must be installed if using any Windows version earlier than Windows XP. See the References section for more information." but if you want I can try some different versions of windows in a virtual environment
