Openssl 1.1.0 support
... OPENSSL_VERSION_NUMBER won't be defined so it'll take the second "initializeSha1HmacContext(void **, ...)" function which won't match. This commit tries to fix that issue.

Take this PR as a follow-up to my old PR (#43) that added general support for OpenSSL >= 1.1.
This PR resolves some issues, f.ex. instead of accidentally freeing memory, I just reset it to zero.
Addressing some issues mentioned in #43.
Minor fixes regarding indentation.
Again, I'd squash the commits.
