- Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress admin
- Search for "Recipe Card Blocks"
- Click Install Now and then Activate
- Download the plugin from WordPress.org
- Upload to
/wp-content/plugins/recipe-card-blocks-by-wpzoom/ - Activate through the Plugins menu
cd wp-content/plugins
git clone https://github.com/wpzoom/recipe-card-blocks-by-wpzoom.git- Create a new post or page
- Add the Recipe Card block
- Fill in recipe details: title, description, ingredients, directions
- Add a featured image and configure cooking times
- Publish your recipe
Starting with version 3.0, all recipes are organized in a dedicated Recipes section:
- Go to Recipes in your WordPress admin
- View, edit, or create new recipes
- Use the Insert Existing Recipe block to add recipes to posts
- Edit any page with Elementor
- Search for Recipe Card widget
- Drag and drop to add your recipe
- Configure settings in the widget panel
If you're migrating from WP Recipe Maker:
- Go to Settings > WPZOOM Recipe Card
- Use the import tool to migrate your recipes
- Review imported recipes in the Recipes section
The plugin automatically adds JSON-LD structured data to your recipes, which helps search engines understand your content and display rich snippets in search results.

- Recipe name, description, and image
- Prep time, cook time, and total time
- Ingredients and instructions
- Nutrition information
- Video content
- Author and ratings
- WordPress 6.0 or higher
- PHP 7.4 or higher
