NEHA-AMIN/README.md

Hi there, Neha Amin 👋

Gmail LinkedIN Dijkstra.edu

I'm a Research Intern @Physical Research Laboratory (ISRO)

  • 💼 Currently working as a Research Intern at Physical Research Laboratory (a unit of ISRO), focusing on advancing Time Series Transformers for superior sequence prediction.

    • Leveraging self-attention mechanisms (based on Zhou’s Informer 2020) to capture long-range dependencies.
    • Specialized in advanced encoding techniques such as Rotary Positional Encoding (RoPE), United Positional Encoding, and Convolutional Sine PE.
    • Designed a hybrid CNN–Transformer architecture for enhanced feature extraction and improved predictive performance.
    • Developed a state-of-the-art model that outperforms existing baselines in accuracy, scalability, and efficiency across diverse applications.
  • 🌱 Deeply passionate about Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning — especially designing, training, and experimenting with models for real-world impact.

  • 👨‍💻 Currently exploring modern full-stack development with Next.js and capable of managing end-to-end web application tasks.

  • 👯 Open to collaborating on AI/ML research projects, deep learning model development, and innovative applications of transformers in time-series forecasting.

  • Fun fact: I love building AI models more than anything else — it feels like solving puzzles with endless possibilities!

TaskList

🟩 2022 Goals: Learn new skills like the MERN Stack, and strengthen DSA core concepts.

🟩 2023 Goals: Build impactful projects — developed major AI/ML systems including:

  • AI-Driven Defect Detection (NDT): Computer Vision system using KMeans, HOG, CLAHE, and OpenCV, deployed with Flask for real-time weld defect inspection.
  • AI Resume Matcher (NLP): Built a resume–job matching pipeline with multi-format parsing, skill-based scoring, and automated candidate recommendations.

🟩 2024 Goals:

  • Contribute as an AI Research Intern at Collegites AI, scaling tools like the Blog Generator and White Paper Generator to reach thousands of users.
  • Enhance expertise in multi-agent systems, prompt engineering, and evaluation methods (ROUGE, BLEU, etc.).
  • Strengthen applied AI/ML skills through real-world projects like LLM-powered chatbots and AI-driven job–candidate matchers (from Monkify.ai).

🥅 2025 Goals:

  • Advance research at Physical Research Laboratory (ISRO) by building state-of-the-art Time Series Transformers for sequence prediction.

  • Actively contribute to open-source projects and collaborations in AI/ML research and full-stack development.

  • Solve 200+ DSA problems, and secure an internship at an MNC.
