POE Injector Cable
Caution
This is a non-standard POE injector. It does not comply with any POE standards. As such, this device does not support POE Auto Negotiation like a standard POE network switch does and can permanently damage your device if your device does not support 12V Passive POE. Before powering your device, make sure that your device supports 12V Passive POE and the polarity is correct. Not doing so may permanently damage your device. Use with caution.
This cable can support POE or Power Over Ethernet to feed devices that support it like radios and Limelights. Plug in the male Ethernet cable into the device that will be powered by POE. Plug in the female Ethernet end into the rest of the network. Finally, plug in the power wires into a suitable 12V supply.
Supported POE Devices
- Limelight 2, 2+, 3, 3G
- Open-Mesh Radio (Port 1 Only)
- VH-109 Radio (RIO Port Only)
