Overview

Caution

This is a non-standard POE injector. It does not comply with any POE standards. As such, this device does not support POE Auto Negotiation like a standard POE network switch does and can permanently damage your device if your device does not support 18V Passive POE. Before powering your device, make sure that your device supports 18V Passive POE and the polarity is correct. Not doing so may permanently damage your device. Use with caution.

Radio Power Module

This module can support POE or Power Over Ethernet to feed devices that support it. This module is designed for radio usage. However, it can be used with any device that supports 18V Passive POE. Plug in the cable for the radio into the yellow port labeled "WiFi Radio", the blue port labeled "NI roboRIO" connects to the rest of the network. Finally, connect power wires from the terminals to a suitable 12V power supply.

Supported POE Devices

  • Open-Mesh Radio (Port 1 Only)
  • VH-109 Radio (RIO Port Only)
